Drums

Drums are the heartbeat that ground us to the earth and carry us to the sacred realm. To create a drum is a process of prayer, the end result is a tool used to help us on our journey. I utilize the best materials possible and use the Salish method of lacing them. I am grateful to Jorge Two Eagles Lewis for his guidance in learning that method. My artwork is always a flight of the imagination influenced by the art of the cultures I greatly admire and connect to.
